Can he embrace the beast within?
I’m a monster.
That’s what Brandon thinks when he flees the medical institute that changed him. Living a normal life isn’t in the cards for him because, while he can hide his scaly skin, his wings are hard to miss.
So he runs and lives in the shadows where monsters belong.
What he didn’t expect to find were others just like him, and they call themselves dragons.
Or so Aimi with the violet eyes tells him when she pins him to the ground.
Seriously, though, dragons?
He doesn’t want to believe, but the evidence is mounting. Not helping his resolve is the fact that the woman with the silver hair doesn’t fear the monster and wants to claim him.
However, before he can think of his own happiness, he has to rescue his little sister. Uncle Theo kidnapped her, and Brandon will do anything to get her back, even if he must embrace the monster within to become the dragon.

"Dragon Point book 1. This is Brandon’s story. Brandon is a gator shifter from the swampy Bayou. His uncle, Theo Parker, has experimented on him and his DNA. He has been changed into what he feels is a monster. Not quite a ‘Gator shifter or human anymore. He has escaped from his uncle’s laboratory and focusses on staying hidden until he can help his sister. His sister, Sue-Ellen is being held by his uncle. He meets a beautiful socialite dragoness, Aimi, of the Silvergrace Sept. Aimi tells Brandon he is a hybrid dragon. Then the fun begins. Aimi likes the way he looks and smells. Brandon is not so sure he is a dragon. She takes him home. There is plenty of humor and snarky comments. We meet some of the weird family members, Aunt Waida, I like her, her twin sister and a whole cast of cousins.
This was a book that was hard to put down it was fun, sexy and intriguing. Becoming Dragon was such a fun book to read. It left me wanting more, much more. I want to know how Uncle Theo escaped a broken neck. What is Sue-Ellen hiding? I want to know more about the other dragon Septs and colors. I know someone wants revenge on Uncle Theo and those dragons seem devious. What is going on in that laboratory? What other shifters might we find?
One can only hope that Eve Langlais writes fast, I think this will become my favorite book series!"

One can only hope that Eve Langlais writes fast, I think this will become my favorite book series! - Brandon finally escaped the clutches of his deluded, power hungry uncle. Now on the run and attempting to track down his still imprisoned sister, he keeps to the shadows as his new "form" doesn't exactly blend with the local humans!
Aimi is getting intense scrutiny from her powerful mother to get with the programme and find a "suitable" mate and breed little dragonlings. But Aimi is powerful, mouthy and a bit of a blood thirsty female and wants more than a doormat for a mate. When she comes across Brandon she knows that she has found her fated mate. Pity he thinks she is cracked in the head. He may be a croc shifter but dragons don't exist. So not only does she have to get the man to agree he is her mate, save his sister and get her mother off her back, Aimi is also trying to explain that dragons can and do exist!
Aimi...well she is the sanest of her family and that's saying something! Brandon is lovably stubborn in his determination that dragons don't exist, even when he has proof standing right in front of him! Snarky and downright bloodthirsty family these dragons, do not get on the wrong side of them! Brandons new inner beast just wants to "crunch" the bad guys and you kind of hope he does cos they are a sick bunch. Bit of sibling heartbreak but it looks like all is not as it seems so plenty more surprises to come! - This book was all about fast-paced action & of course Dragons.
Aimi & her family (mostly women) are Silver Dragons & Aimi went out 1 night & found a man to claim/mate. His name was Brandon Mercer however she didn't like Brandon's 1st name & changed it to Brand.
Brand had been experimented on by his Uncle Theo who kept threatening him with his sister Sue-Ellen if he didn't behave & do what his Uncle wanted. & he did until he escaped from BittenTech (but I might not be spelling that right & it was also mentioned in the series called Bitten Point by Eve Langlais also); he's been on the run & in a 1/2 human &1/2 dragon shape when he met Aimi. He was also in denial about being a dragon.
That is some background on this story; the main parts of this story is getting him to believe that he really is a dragon shifter, getting his sister back from their Uncle Theo & finally claiming/mating Aimi. There are lots of almost sex scenes in this book, some meddling female dragons (all from Aimi's family), a couple of dragon fights & a HEA. As I really enjoyed this book, I will be reading the next book in this series. - There is one thing absolutely guaranteed when I pick up an Eve Langlais book, I will laugh out loud. With that in mind, I was in the mood for dragons and since I had yet to read the Dragon Point Series and could use a laugh began reading.
I was not disappointed, Brandon has been changed from his normal gator into something other by his Uncle Theo. Something half man and half monster, at least that's what he calls himself. Now he travels in the dark, flying from place to place trying to find his sister before his uncle does something terrible to her too.
When Aimi finds him, she doesn't want to let him go. A dragon in hybrid form on her cousin's rooftop. Unfortunately for her he does leave her, only to seek her out without knowing the reason.
When he finds her hilarity abounds as her family gets involved, confirming he's a dragon and so much more.
More laughter, and sizzling scenes as the bond between these two strengthens, the arrogance of the dragons is something to behold.
Lots family type drama, some intrigue and a surprise for all of them will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. - Ok, ok, ok just when I think she can't get any better, Eve manages to blow that out of the water. I drooled and gushed over those Kodiak boys (*sighs* mmmmm Gene the most awesome anti hero) and then she hit us over the head and stunned us with Bitten Point boys (mmmm sure could do with a Gator) anyway getting a bit off the beaten track here. Now Eve has delivered to us the first in her new Dragon Point Series, I'm not sure my poor heart can take it, as usual she made me giggle my lil heart out, swear and curse, rather loudly mind you, at the baddies (had me kind of wishing I had a chomp factor going on) anddddddd singed the tips of my fingers with each swipe of the page thanks to her awesome ability of adding just the right amount of heat to the mix. Now I have to wait for book 2, rather impatiently I might add, so I can curb my craving for more (well until I finish that one in one sitting).
